Cleanroom Classes

As undisputed market leader in all "white" environments (such as the pharmaceutical, food, electronics, bio-medical and semiconductor industries) there was a need to develope a new small vacuum unit, ideal for clean room environments, where maximum sterilization and full contamination control are standard requirements. The challenge in this case was to offer something small, quiet, that could be completely sterilized, ideal for recovering small quantities of toxic (or even potentially lethal) powder. Merging its well-known expertise in this field with its continuous professional dedication to customer needs, the new CRX1000 was developed. It is the ideal solution for clean room cleaning. And in order to be sure to achieve total customer satisfaction, the new CRX1000 is fully compatible with all clean room classes, down to the strictest ISO 4.

Modularity

Thanks to its modular construction, the CRX1000 can be easily disassembled and thoroughly inspected/cleaned. The practical and safe locking clamps ensure air-tight sealing and quick and easy servicing operations.

Safety first

Thanks to the new filter-ring, changing the main filter today is safer: the filter never touches the ground and no powder comes into contact with any surface.

Maximum sterilization

All accessories are made of stainless steel or high-resistance silicon. This means that hoses, hand-tools and nozzles can all be fully sterilized in autoclave at 130 deg. C.

H-class version

The CRX1000 can also be provided in class H, thanks to its stainless steel 316 construction, its powder disposal mechanism with safe-bag, and the possibility of fitting an optional downstream HEPA filter (class H13). In this version the CRX1000 is suitable for use inside the strictest of cleanrooms, down to those classified as ISO 4.

Cleanroom classification

There are different systems used around the world to classify clean rooms: today the most widely referred to is the ISO standard, based on the old Federal Standard 209 D, used at length in the USA. According to this method, clean rooms are divided into classes on the basis of the number of particles equal to or greater than 0.5 µm in one cubic foot of air.
