What's ATEX

ATEX (ATmosphere EXplosive) is a European Derective in force since 1st July, 2003. The first regulation enforced by CEN, the 94/9/DE, concerns the manufacturing features of equipment. The second regulation, the 99/92/CE divides explosion hazardous environments into different zones according to the hazardous level for users. ATEX regulation involves all equipment, within the European Community countries, workin in potentially hazardous environments.
ATEX Directive classifies atmospheres in:

• Gas,
• Dust,
• Gas-Dust.

The new model 15ATEX is one of the few single-phase industrial vacuums with the ATEX certification present in the market.

Designed to grant high standard of safety in the 22 zone - Dust, it can operate where the explosion risk is not so high but existing. 15ATEX grants surely an efficient filtration in every field: the class "L" primary filter can be replaced by the "M" filter, able to collect very fine dust; moreover the absolute filter HEPA 14 (optional) can hold toxic particles. Compact and easy to use, the model 15ATEX is ideal for any situation, it is in fact used in the pharmaceutical-chemical-cosmetic sector, in the universities, in the bakeries, in the mills, in the firing grounds and in all the environments with an explosion risk.
